Developer Wanted & More

May 23rd, 2007 | Development, LiveSessions

The Uniform Server is looking for an additional developer to help out with the development of the server. We are looking for a developer that is proficient in PHP & Perl code writing and familiar with the other open source technologies. If you are interested, please send your resume to me at olajideolaolorun{at}gmail.com. This is a volunteer job and you will not be paid in cash but in thanks, thanks and more thanks :D Proficiency in AJAX will be a big plus! :)
After finishing my rounds today and adding some in-pack plugins to the server (shhhh), i noticed something else i already added and working that most people have problems installing. Now, i am not too sure yet if i want to add it as a in-pack plugin or a downloadable plugin, but AWStats 6.6 is up and running here. This will be discussed during the BetaChat LiveSession.

To talk about the upcoming LiveSession, the date set for it is Saturday May 26, 2007 1200 EST. It will be held in the IRC Channel as most of you already know. If you cannot make it, there will be logs saved in the Developer Forum, but please try your hardest to make it. 3.4-Sluger Beta will be released during the chat if all goes well. It will last for as long as it can, meaning not until the conversation ceases.

The information you need to sign on to the IRC Channel follows:

IRC Server: irc.freenode.net
Channel: #unidev

For more information on connecting, read the IRC Info in the Wiki.

Please try and make time to be there.

Best Regards,
Olajide Olaolorun
