The Uniform Server is looking for an additional developer to help out with the development of the server. We are looking for a developer that is proficient in PHP & Perl code writing and familiar with the other open source technologies. After finishing my rounds today and adding some in-pack plugins to the server (shhhh), i noticed something else i already added and working that most people have problems installing. Now, i am not too sure yet if i want to add it as a in-pack plugin or a downloadable plugin, but AWStats 6.6 is up and running here. This will be discussed during the BetaChat LiveSession.

To talk about the upcoming LiveSession, the date set for it is Saturday May 26, 2007 1200 EST. It will be held in the IRC Channel as most of you already know. If you cannot make it, there will be logs saved in the Developer Forum, but please try your hardest to make it. 3.4-Sluger Beta will be released during the chat if all goes well. It will last for as long as it can, meaning not until the conversation ceases.

In about 2-3 weeks, the Uniform Server will be getting a new release since forever. A shame on my part, but life doesn’t always go the way we want it or have it planed. About a month ago, what most people don’t know is that i was involved in an accident at my job. An armed robber was trying to rob us when he shot me, i was admitted to the hospital and had to stay there for 3-4 days, after getting out i took a week rest and went back to finishing school since it was so close to the end of the semester. Well to skip forward, today i feel alright except for the fact that i can’t walk on my left foot, and i hate the crutches, but it could have been worse.

Uniform Server 3.4-Sluger is coming to a close up by the end of this week and after that it will be released to the Beta Testers in an upcoming Beta LiveSession on our IRC Channel. After everything is completed, 3.4-Sluger will be released.

As you all might know, BetaChat 2 was cancelled on the last day due to some big reasons. Though we could not hold the BetaChat, we released 3.3 Beta 3 to the testers/translators/gfx team members. We have since moved on since then, and selected a new date for the LiveSession. It is important that all Beta Testers/Translators/GFX Team Members join this BetaChat so we can talk about 3.3 Beta 3.

The new date for the BetaChat LiveSession is Saturday November 12, 2005 1400 GMT. It will be held in the IRC Channel as most of you already know. If you cannot make it, there will be logs saved in the Developer Forum, but please note that you have to notify us if you can’t make it. Beta 3 Release 2 might be released during/after the chat if all goes well. It will last for as long as it can, meaning not untill the conversation ceases.
